Fijian youth climate negotiator Talei Cavu says it is important to hear Pacific voices on climate change on the global stage. This year is shaping up to be another big one for Cavu. Coming off the back of COP30 in Belem, Brazil, where she was the coordinator for the Pacific for the Just Transition thematic priority, she kicks off 2026 in New York City.
