A useful educational tool for children of all ages to learn about the importance of the ocean and the uniqueness of marine life existing within. The Guam Visitors Bureau has provided this ocean video as a contribution toward our island childrens' awareness. Through it, they will learn of our environment, the wonders of the sea, and the fragility of it all. Their knowledge will inspire them to participate in the preservation of Guam's environment, and in return, protection of the islands economically important visitor industry. This video is suitable for all ages, particularly for middle schoolers.

A spectacular display of unique Kiribati and it's culture and traditions, their simple nature of existence in contrast to European technology and influence. Extensive footage of Kiribati dancing, feasting and fishing can be viewed in this 66minute video including the Annual Independence Celebration marking the end of British Colonial Rule in 1979 when Kiribati was known as Gilbert Islands. Also showing is the popular local comedy "The Hungry Giant", promoting balanced food which is best provided by local food.

This video was produced by the Division of Environment & Conservation to address proper waste disposal in Samoa. It explains how rubbish/waste can be organised into different categories according to their content (toxic, bio-degradable, & recyclable materials). Also showing 2 local companies with recycling services; Westend Limited & Pepsi.

An open Forum Discussion on Environmental Education, Definition, and an Action Plan Strategy, with representatives from various Pacific Islands such as Samoa, Fiji, Nauru, Guam, Hawaii, and organisations WWF and SPREP. This video documents and identifies need for environmental education training, and an action plan Committee to present draft findings and outline a time frame. There is also discussion of resolutions, comments, and adoption of resolutions.

The Macuata Gillnet Ban tells the story of how a coastal fishing community, with help from Government and Regional experts, succeeded to turn a distressed fishery into one that has created work and wealth. Conserving natural resources is vital to every country's survival. This is a conservation story with a happy ending. Fish stocks in Macuata did recover and steps were taken to ensure that the stocks would remain sustainable.

Inshore fish stocks in Samoa have come under increasing pressure from fishermen using modern fishing gear such as fast boats and nylon nets. Destructive fishing methods have added to the problem. Some fishermen have destroyed parts of the coral reef and caught fish indiscriminantly using dynamite, chlorine, or other chemicals. This video shows how fisheries management can be placed in the hands of the community. With the support of village leaders, communities have developed individual programmes for the protection of the fish in the lagoon.
