Abstract

Solomon Islands is blessed with rich natural resources. We have exceptionally high levels of endemism and our terrestrial and marine species are amongst the most diverse in the globe. This biological diversity has supported our island-based livelihoods and economies for centuries. Our biodiversity is part and partial of our cultural heritage. We lived in harmony with our natural resources and protected the richness of our ecosystems.
