The green growth framework for Fiji: Restoring balance in development that is sustainable for out future is a 'living document'. This framework is intended to support and complement the Peoples Charter for Change, Peace and Progress.

The Fiji LEDS builds onto existing mitigating and adaptation actions that are being undertaken by the Fijian government and will inform Fiji's future Nationally Dtermined Contributions (NDCs) reported to the UNFCCC. The strategy will be a key tool, a guiding light and a fundamental pillar to enhancing and raising ambition in our NDCs.

Fijian National Development Plan (NDP), with the vision "Transforming Fiji", maps out the way forward for Fiji and all the Fijians to realise our full potential as a nation. These plans work together, as the 5-year development plan provides a detailed action agenda with the specific targets and policies that are aligned to the long-term transformational 20-tear development plan.

Fiji’s current Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) is specific to the energy sector both in terms of a GHG (greenhouse gas) baseline, with 2013 as the reference year, and in terms of potential mitigation actions.
