The Federated States of Micronesia is one of fifteen Pacific Island Nations which took part in the PacWaste Plus Programme implemented through SPREP and funded by the European union Delegation of the Pacific. The PacWastePlus programme aims to improve waste management activities across the islands and strengthen the capacity of Governments, industries and communities to manage wastes to protect human health and the environment.
