Dugong are very charismatic and people love them! Tourists come from around the world to see dugong in the Pacific Islands and this ecotourism can be a sustainable source of income. Dugong rely on shallow waters and seagrass beds for food and habitat. They eat up to 40kg of seagrass a day!

Turtles are reptiles which means temperature can change the sex of their babies while they grow in the egg. Warming temperatures caused by climate change mean there will be more female turtles hatching than males - a problem when it comes to making next generation of turtles.
