Available Online
The people of the Pacific rely heavily on the resources of the land and sea for their social, cultural and economic well being. For thousand of years, they have lived in harmony with nature. Geographic and ecological isolation of the Pacific Islands have led to the evolution of unique species and communities of plants and animals, many of which are endemic to specific islands. This video highlights the beauty of the natural heritage of the Pacific islands people, which is now under conservation. Islands visited in this video are Samoa: Fiji: Cook Islands, Kosrae, Pohnpei, and Palau.
