The second part of our special side event bringing you real voices from our Pacific island – calling for 1.5. Held at the Moana Blue Pacific on 4 November from 7.20 – 8.25pm Glasgow time, this event shared Pacific voices through three different lenses – religious, academic and our NGO’s.

Coordinated by the Pacific Islands Climate Action Network, the event gave voice to Pacific island peoples sharing their challenges and what can be done at the global level to help address these. This was held at the Moana Blue Pacific on 4 November from 8.35 – 9.55pm Glasgow time. 8.35 – 9.55pm

Coordinated by the Regional Pacific NDC Hub, this event was held on 3 November at 9.25am - 10.20am, Glasgow time. The Moana Blue Pacific at COP26 is a partnership with Aotearoa New Zealand managed by the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP).

A powerful work that is a call to arms on climate change for peoples across the Pacific and globally. Ancient Oceanic wisdom and worldviews harnessed in service to the most pressing crisis and leadership issue of our times. It brings poetry, oratory, ancient prophecy, indigenous languages of Oceania - knowledge that has been passed down over three thousand years from the largest ocean in the world - and some of the smallest islands - about sustainability, survival, love, and ways of being in the world - to the world - in an evolutionary moment.
