The Global Climate Change Alliance Plus Scaling up Pacific Adaptation (GCCA+ SUPA) project is about scaling up climate change adaptation measures in specific sectors supported by knowledge management and capacity building.

Fiji comprises of over 300 islands spread over an EEZ area of 1.29 million km2. Fiji is the fifth country that carried out an Impacts Analysis Methodology developed as part of the EU funded GCCA+SUPA project.

The Global Climate Change Alliance Plus Scaling Up Pacific Adaptation (GCCA +SUPA) project has undertaken an impact analysis. The analysis was designed and tested with information from precious adaptation interventions completed in the past five years in four countries, Tonga, Palau, Cook islands and the Federated States of Micronesia (FSM).

The GCCA+ SUPA project, funded by the European Union is delivered collaboratively by SPREP, SPC and USP with the aim to enhance climate change adaptation and resilience within the Pacific region
