This handbook is for farmers, field and extension workers and educators in Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu and helps strengthen food security int he face of climate change by reporting on variety if traditional and innovative farming technologies. It encourages farmers to think about and plan for the effects of climate change and other challenges to their communities.

This webinar is convened by the Pacific Climate Change Centre (PCCC) the ISCCR project, and the Pacific Community (SPC) through the Pacific Climate Change Innovation lounge, as part of the PCCC's ongoing webinar series. THe session explores the transformative potential of Earth Observation (EO) technologies, including satellite data, in supporting climate change resilience across Pacific Island Countries (PICs). It brings together experts and practitioners to discuss how EO tools can inform decision-making, strengthen partnership, and enhanced climate change adaptation strategies tailored to the unique challenges of the Pacific region.

Ocean Outlook, fortnight to 7 March: • Sea surface temperature (SST) forecasts more than 0.8°Cabove normal are favoured in the following country EEZs: Palau, Guam, CNMI, most of FSM, far northern RMI, most of PNG, northwestern Solomon Is., and southeastern French Polynesia. SST anomalies above 1.2°C are favoured in southern Palau, northwestern PNG, and southern French Polynesia. Forecasts more than -0.8°Cbelow normal SSTs are favoured in parts of Gilbert Is. (Kiribati). Elsewhere SSTs are predicted to be near-normal.

SST anomalies above 1.2°C are favoured in southern Palau, central CNMI, northern PNG, and southern French Polynesia. Below normal SSTs are favoured in parts of Nauru, and Kiribati. Elsewhere SSTs are predicted to be near-normal.

SST anomalies above 1.2°C are favoured in southern Palau, central CNMI, parts of PNG, southern French Polynesia, and Pitcairn Is.. Below normal SSTs are favoured in parts of Nauru, Kiribati. Elsewhere SSTs are predicted to be near-normal.
