This 16-minute video documents the historic plenipotentiary meeting held in Apia, Samoa, from June 14 to 16, 1993, where the Agreement Establishing the South Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP) was signed. The treaty transformed SPREP into an autonomous intergovernmental organization dedicated to environmental protection and sustainable development in the Pacific region.
