Samoa National Drinking Water Standards 2008
Good quality water or potable water is water that is clear, colourless and with pleasant taste and odour. It must not contain any substance, organism, chemical or radioactive materials and/or concentration which could endanger the consumers at all times. To prevent waterborne diseases, access to safe water that meets regulatory standards is most protective of public health. These drinking water quality standards were prepared by the Samoa Drinking-water Standards Task Force which includes members of various government departments and organisations.
