Guam's EPA has the role to monitor, control, and prevent abuse of the environment through granting permits and rejecting those with the potential to damage the environment. As part of it's program activities, it identifies sites for surface and ground water within Guam, addresses air pollution and control measures, extinction and careless fishing destroying Guam marine life.
