The Standards and Certification Programme for Phasing out SUPs in the Pacific Islands Tourism Industry were developed in partnership with SPTO and the Australian Government-funded Pacific Ocean Litter Project, implemented by the Secretariat of the Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP). The Standards & Certification Programme aims to raise awareness of sustainable plastic alternatives and advocate for the adoption of these alternatives within tourism businesses in the Pacific.
