This step-by-step manual helps community leaders develop an action plan for strengthening and protecting food security as a response to the effects of climate change. It equips leaders with information and tools to increase awareness of the effects of climate change, assess the risks to food production, acquire adaptation strategies and technologies, and develop a community plan that will ensure steady food production.

This handbook is for farmers, field and extension workers and educators in Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands and Vanuatu and helps strengthen food security int he face of climate change by reporting on variety if traditional and innovative farming technologies. It encourages farmers to think about and plan for the effects of climate change and other challenges to their communities.

This flipchart is designed for NGOs, community groups and agencies presenting to small groups. It uses strong imagery to highlight why good sanitation is important, what options there are for affordable and appropriate sanitation, and how communities can set up and maintain sanitation enterprises.

The UN climate conference in Cancún, in December 2010, has put the international community back on track, to eventually limit the global temperature increase to 2° Celsius or lower. This 2° stabilisation pathway will require a substantial international effort and significant financing. This paper, commissioned by KfW Development Bank, assesses the issues related to international climate financing. It examines potential sources of revenues and analyses which instruments are most compatible with these sources and the climate objectives. Ultimately, the paper provides suggestions for progress in international climate financing after Cancún, towards a 2°C stabilisation pathway.
