Environmental Law in Vanuatu : a description and evaluation
The existing environmental law of Vanuatu is reviewed and assessed and recommendations are made as to the modifications and additions which would appear t be necessary in order to transform the existing law into a modern legal regime for environmental and natural resource conservation and management. No detailed drafting has been included at this stage, as it would appear premature for this to be done prior to the acceptance in principle by the government of Vanuatu of such amendment as are proposed. Drafting suggestions for those proposals which are so approved will form part of the final report.
