The film is about the significance The World Commission on Environment and Development, was established in 1983 under the auspices of the United Nations to address growing global environmental concerns. It is also known as 'The Brundtland Commission'. In 1987 the UN-sponsored World Commission on Environment and Development issued the Brundtland Report also called 'Our Common Future', which introduced the concept of sustainable development—defining it as “development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs".
