This is a 26 minute film addressing social and economical changes affecting Niue. Social factors such as migration and dependency on foreign aid from New Zealand, is seriously affecting Niue and its efforts for development. This video attempts to raise awareness amongst Niueans about the effects of migration, the need to preserve its culture, and the importance of balancing development with environmental concerns to escape future environmental adversities.

This Eco-Forestry video was made for the Sustainable Management Project with the theme; "The Forest Belongs to Every Generation : Look After It". It outlines steps that communities need to take in the areas of decision making for the sustainable use of their Forests. It also addresses steps communities need to consider in order to protect forests. In addition, it gives a description of the different types of timber trees found in the forest such as the white beech, pencil cedar, and choba.

The Commonwealth is a voluntary association of 54 sovereign nations around the world. From Africa to India, from the Pacific shores to the Carribean, it's 1.7billion people make up 30% of the world's population and account for 25% of global trade. They belong to many ethnic groups, religions and cultures in both developing and developed countries. The Commonwealth is an informal network. At its centre is the Commonwealth Secretariat, an intergovernmental body. There are also more than 80 non-governmental organisations and professional groups which link people at all levels. Some of its Keywork Programmes are Strengthening Democracy, Promoting Gender Equality, Private Sector Development and Youth Empowerment. The significance and relevance of the Commonwealth continues to grow as it helps developing states with the provision of technical and financial support.

Continuing from previous part of the workshop, Buckley continues with his discussion on data manipulation and analysis before moving on to two new subjects. These are; Data Output and Display; and Assessment, Acquisition and Implementation. Data Output and Display examines graphic display, map composition, and tabular reports.

This is the last part of the 4 part Workshop on Introductions to GIS. This part discusses the last issue examined in part 3; "Assessment, Acquisition, and Implementation". It discusses the current options and software assessment, practical considerations, justification and expectations, implementation issues, system configurations, and future developments and GIS trends.

Three topics are discussed in this GIS video series. They are; An introduction to Global Possitioning System, Datums; their use and abuse, and Applications of GPS. Global Possitioning System or GPS, is owned by the Department of Defense. GPS is satellite based and is a super accurate system. There are several applications of GPS with several models such as the receiver and base station.

This GIS video discusses three issues. Bob Ryerson talks about technology transfer and remote sensing in environmental monitoring, while Farouk El-Baz speaks about remote sensing of environmental effects of the Gulf War. A third issue; Collection and Interpretation of color infrared and thermal infrared imagery of landfill covers is covered by Christopher Stohr.
