The Access Benefit and Sharing Regulations (ABS Regulations) is being developed in accordance with the Nagoya Protocol to the Convention on Biological Diversity. This report details the outcomes of the consultations with the identified stakeholders. Although the ABS Regulations is limited to access to genetic resources in Tuvalu, it is the first to provide a legal basis for the use of traditional knowledge in this context.
