Report of a Trawling Survey of Panaeid Prawns in the Fanga'uta Lagoon Tongatapu

The fana'uta lagoon is a 7,000 acre inland water areas on Tongatapu island. Much of the lagoon's area is vey shallow but with some deeper channels running through it. This estuarine area serves as a vital nursely ground for many reef fish which support the local subsistence fishery.
