One World:Report on the Nickel Refinery in New Caledonia/Nauru's Coral Reefs/Solar Technology-Pacific Energy Group

Abstract

Friends of the Earth presented a report on the Nickel Refinery in New Caledonia. This report is discussed here which concludes that potentially hazardous health risks exists, as confirmed by Dr. Virginia Hope and Suzie Newborne during an interview with Carolyn Court. Miss Court also converses with Dr. Richard Murphy about coral bleaching in Nauru and studies undertaken to determine cause and controlling factors. Lastly, Stephen Morrow (spokesperson for Pacific Energy) gives a description of the company and some of its work projects.
