Mission report environmental management of Cook Islands Tu'anga Toporoporo ( The environment service Government of Cook Islands Rarotonga.

At the request of the Tu'anga Toporoporo of the Government of Cook Islands, the regional adviser on environmental management undertook a mission to Rarotonga, Cook Islands from 23 to 29 June 2000. In her letter to ESCAP, the Director of the Environment Service had request the ESCAP to provide technical assistance in the following area updating of the Cook Islands National Environment Management Strategy, Integrationsof environment and sustainable development concerns into the development process particularly reviewing environmental impact assessment strategy.
