Abstract
The International Waters Programme (IWP) is a 5-year programme for 14 participating Pacific Island Countries1. It is funded by the Global Environment Facility (GEF), implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and executed by the South Pacific Regional Environment Programme (SPREP). The objectives and broad activities of the IWP are described in a Project Document that was signed by SPREP and UNDP 111 February 2000.
