This paper was prepared by the Centre for International Economics (Australia), for AusAID and the Government of New Zealand. It evaluates the effect of extending the FIC free trade area (see FEMF 18) to include Australia and New Zealand. The estimated gains are significantly higher than from a free trade area restricted to FICs alone.
