One of the functions of the Center for Global Environment is to provide data and information on the global environment to researches, as well as to administrators all over the world. CGER has published various publications since its establishment in 1990, for the purpose of disseminating the latest knowledge on the global environment. Among the various global environmental issues, it is now widely recognised that global sea level rise, attributed to global warming, can have tremendous impacts on both inhabited and uninhabited areas.
