Acts 1979 No 1-15

This Act may be cited as the 1979-80 Appropriation Act, 1979 and shall be deemed to have come into operation on the first day of July,1979. There shall be issued from general revenue and other funds of the Kingdom of applied to the service of the year ending the thirtieth day of June One thousand nine hundred and eighty any sum or sums not exceeding the sum of nine million eight hundred and fifty thousand and eighty one pa'anga for defraying the charges of the Government of Tonga for such period in the manner expressed in the Scheduled to this Act. The Treasurer shall issue and pay such sum of sums of money for the purposes set out in the Scheduled not exceeding in the whole the sums respectively in that behalf as the Prime Minister shall by warrant under his hand direct.
