One of the most remote and beautiful places on earth - the Federated States of Micronesia is facing the harsh pinch of rising food prices.

This past quarter, with the practiced confidence from the field trial of the tailored impact analysis methodology for adaptation in the Pacific, has been all about connecting with others and sharing ideas through communications.

Segment one of April focused on freshwater security in atolls with case example of Nukuoro atoll, Pohnpei in the Federated States of Micronesia.

This yer kickstarted with assembling field results from the four countries participating in this trial application of draft impact analysis methodology. Federated States of Micronesia (FSM) is one of the four countries that cooperated with the field testing of an impacts analysis methodology, to profile recent history of climate change adaptation work sourced from recently completed projects.

The story resilience for communities in Palau requires looking back in time to examine and learn from results of previous climate change adaptation work to inform future planning.

Determining the impacts of climate change adaptation measures requires a comprehensive approach. The sounder the information about the impacts of adaptation measures, the better it is for planning future adaptation activities that focus on efforts which have the desired measurable impact.
