We need there to be less plastic pollution in the ocean. It is important to think about where things go when we throw them away and we need to make sure they don't end up trapping a dolphin or being eaten by a albatross.

There are a lot of people who are working to make the Pacific ocean a healthy ecosystem and lots of different ways to help. Turtle monitoring helps to protect beaches where turtles breed and making sure their babies successfully make it to the ocean.
